Jordan Mccloud to UH?

Understandably but his son is in going to be in charge in what fits our offensive scheme, not how many stars a player has. If it’s a 3 star, 4 or 5, you bring in guys that fit the scheme.

I like Novosad but I’ll take any upgrade.

Fair statement, it’s not hard to understand, we’ve been blessed with some guys that’s been cool under pressure, but all of those guys have been 2+ year starters.

As of now Novosad ain’t in the portal and not jumping in it no time soon. That’s from my source. He wants to compete and not run from it.

True statements

He’ll leave.

Unless he wants to waste another year.

If Oregon thought he was they guy they would not have gotten Moore.

You take that chance no matter where you go as a QB unless you are promised a job and say he comes here and not do great. Then we after his head. Being a Qb during these times is hard. Stay and compete or transfer and compete, or go down a level and be promised.

Do you not upgrade your team, regardless of what year? Oregon is doing what we say want to do, bring completion. It’s all the same

True.

But you can go down to G-5 , be promised a job……do well a couple of years and still be drafted high.

I’m not saying that, what I am saying he had a chance to show his wares on a national level. After being the poster child of the team who was making noise nationally getting press about the team who would be in the New Years game but couldn’t because of NCAA rules, and he failed. Against a above average AF team.

That’s not my argument but that is true. All I’m saying is staying and competing or leaving elsewhere and competing is the same thing unless you are promised a job. I take UH doesn’t want a player promised? We want competition.

McCloud’s accuracy and touch are considerably better than Smith’s. And when he runs he doesn’t hesitate. And he sees the whole field.

No way they’re in the same league! Smith makes this dude look like Michael Vick! Not just the accuracy is a few notches better, but the running ability is also better! You can tell by his long runs that if that were Smith he may get four yards before the defense swarms on him because Smith doesn’t have good speed and elusiveness as a runner. McCloud has all of those things and that’s why he could get 15-20 yards in a scramble when the protection breaks down! We would be very blessed to get McCloud and this team could win twice as many games than last year’s team if we have him, if not more! As of right now, I think McCloud could be a better option for our team than Malachi Nelson simply because he is a proven product. Nelson has yet to prove himself since he sat on the bench last tear the entire year behind the hype that everybody has been talking about the last couple of years — Caleb Williams!

This guy is playing inferior competition, not P3 competition. Step up a notch played AF and loss.

Once he steps up in competition he would also be surrounded with better teammates so that he would shine just as brightly, but only in a bigger stage!

Yes, last I saw, football is still an eleven man game. And to me, McCloud looks more similar to Greg Ward than does Smith who often appears to be making his decisions and moving in slow motion.

Regardless, we all have to trust CWF with his decisions regarding who will get snaps at QB for UH.

He’s does look like a GW a little, but he is not as fast or elusive from the film I’ve seen. Then many QB’s aren’t, so to be fair maybe it’s not fair to compare him to GW. Just a fan what do i know, jmho he ain’t the one. I be glad to eat my words if he comes here and does a great job, assuming he gets it.

He didnt have a good offense of line play… And the overall talent in James Madison is not exactly the same as it will be at Houston. Thanks to him they made it that far.

He may not be as elusive or as fast as GW but he definitely has a stronger arm and maybe a better field processer, where he doesnt take off quick and lets the play develop.

He got James Madison to #23 in the country. He had beasts screaming in his face 75% of the time. His touch is delightful to watch.
