Hows the crowd look?

Yeah. Used to sit in 129 and 229. Some of the best seats in the house. I didn’t miss a single home game from 2014-2018 (sec 129). Then the Apple debacle happened… :joy:

229 (‘19, ‘21, ‘22) has to be some of the best seats at any outdoor FB specific stadium I’ve ever sat in. 229 can get wild too!

This year we’re trying being in 307-308.

I have to say that the stairs aren’t great but even in 308 you’re still on top of the action.

All in all best FB specific stadium in this town hands down!

229 is awesome for the view, but horrible for the heat. I moved across from 229 to 113. Miss the view, but its much cooler in the lower bowl on the home side.

I stood in the concession area until 7pm then went up to my seats in 229. The sun wasnt burning hot by then and it was tolerable.

I’m am pretty sure we do allow more students, they moved the band over a section and gave the students the other section which wasn’t completely full. So the admin allowed for more seats than the students needed

It’s highly likely that stadium security will have no choice but to allow every student for TCU game into the gates. It wouldn’t surprise me if our admin allows 10k students in regardless of situation.

Not sure if Yormark is scheduled to be here in two weeks or not. With the game scheduled for FOX national, it’s likely that someone from XII will be here!

Can’t wait to beat Rice and focus on TCU!!

I don’t have to. I can just flip the channels and see the atmospheres in those stadiums. Dana always says that he hopes to have P5 atmospheres here. He has seen a lot of P5 football and knows what that looks like. He was happy for last night’s and that it was a step in the right direction. I doubt he would have rated it top ten though.

There were plenty of empty seats, including 4 directly next to me.

I get the feeling that most of you graduated from UHD & not THE university of Houston… y’all need to grow up

Okay, based on your feelings from watching what were the top ten?

36K for an opener against UTSA is decent. Not great, but a step in the right direction.

The upper endzones are always a ghost town, even with 40K in the house.

It was the biggest crowd he has coached in front of at UH

90% full?

It would be hard to find a single row that was 90% full. 90% would be quite uncomfortable. At 75-80% density it really begins to feel tight and you often can’t leave an empty seat between groups. People had room to spread out and it was comfortable – even roomy.

In the end, all the really matters is official attendance and if we win. We did good in both last week, let’s do better next week!

Yep! I believe that TCU crowd will be electric!
Two historic programs with multi conference ties!

Plus I’d take Fort Worse over Dallas any day of the week! Twice on Sunday!

Do these photos look like 36K to you, I don’t think so. However, I will be disappointed until we get 40K that actually show up and are in their seats at kickoff. That would really make a difference in the team’s excitement level and in the eyes of recruits. You can call me unreasonable or a curmudgeon, but that’d my goals and expectations if you want to refer to us as a top 10 crowd.

Not gonna happen. They all love the concourse.

No one has said it was full, Aggy. Not one person. But here you are again posting the same pic of empty club seats on a 100 degree day.

Again, the announced attendance is for tickets sold. It includes student section, season tickets, etc…

I share a box with my sister. Neither of us live in Houston and we couldn’t attend this game. We have 16 tix between us. We found 13 people to go. Do you think UH has some elaborate conspiracy to trick you because those 3 empties were counted as sold.
