Tamu, you have been here a long time and are a solid poster, but I sit opposite of you and I can tell you that is not the case.
I’ve seen a 30Kish crowd at the rob, and this crowd would surpass that. When I saw our “total” I didn’t roll my eyes - for once.
In Houston, as city with so much to do and offer, I was dang proud. We had way more than 27K.
Heck, I recall pointing out to my wife saying " look how full we are and look in the concourses all the folks in the shade."

Saying the stadium was 60% filled is worse than ludicrous. It’s a flat out lie.
Lower bowl was full and the upper decks looked about 80%.

Well the coach and players all commented on how great the crowd was and electric the atmosphere was but carry on with your complaints.
We had over 200 recruits at the game we showed up and gave them a W.

Best crowd in years…looked bad on tv at the start, looked better at the half.
Not in 105 and all 106 or 104
For 37k+ announced attendance on Labor Day weekend vs Astros in sweltering heat against an AAC opponent when we’re unranked, we’re not going to have as many seats filled as sold. That said, the empties were concentrated in the one upper EZ and TV did a good job of avoiding that. Fans were more enthusiastic than most teams’ fans. That really shows!
