Naw he is too small and he was recruited by Arkansas State and Tulsa lol.
That said he was a steal for the Coogs!

He is definitely “Caselike”. He’s got great feet, speed, and he’s slippery (hard to hit/tackle). Quick release and accurate. I think Fritz will find something for him to do…

Yeah, that’s what I thought.

I think he has that “workman” style that’s always effective when given a chance. He’s a couple of inches shorter than Duggan but he has his intangibles.

I was clowning around because of what several other posters have written.
I am a huge Carlisle fan and will see him a few times again this year. He was a steal

Read that his Mother is a UH Grad. Might have helped.

If you get enough Austin Carlisle’s on your team with the athleticism and desire to be great, you are eventually competing for championships. Carlisle can help establish the Fritz culture at UH.

He kind of reminds me of Colt McCoy, after watching those highlight videos.

AC is a pure athlete. Probably has a 40+ vertical. He’s going to do great things.

That’s too underrated for too many coaches. In close games decided 4 or fewer points. All it’s takes is one bad play.

Is Austin going to start as a true freshman? What’s the plan then with Keisean Henderson? Will he start as a true freshman and Austin slide to WR?

I was wondering this, because Henderson is coming here to play quarterback.
