If you want to quote something someone wrote… Simply highlight the text you want with your browser cursor in the post you want to quote and hit REPLY

Any reason the system is automatically editing out posts that I quote? It is really annoying.
I dunno, I can see all the quote you just did in your post with no problem?
Ya it didn’t do it here but on few of the football threads its been automatically editing out the quoted posts.
Boom! It just did it my last both post.
Unfortunately I can’t duplicate the issue. What browser and OS are you using?
Safari. If i go back an edit the post it will let me keep the quote. Even on this post it automatically edited out the quote the first time.

The above happens only if you’re trying to quote the entire last post in a thread. I think the software deems it uncessary (which is probably true).

If it helps…it appears to me that if you reply to a post and your reply happens to be the very next post in that thread, it automatcially strips some things down (ie, as if it deems “some reference details are not needed in that case since the referenced post appears immediately above”).
