I haven’t been the biggest D Smith fan, but I like what I read in this article. Getting excited!

If Smith makes giant leap we can be the 2022 TCU!

Agree, really high on QB1. Only ask is he limits his turnovers and picks. Pretty please QB1, please.

He does that , we beak Oklahoma and play in conference championship game. Donnie goes to New York. Second rounder or better for sure.

Nice that our SR starting QB loves those freshmen…Both highly sought after WRs by many SEC heavy hitter schools…Will be fun to watch them all this year.

Just hope we can watch a vertical passing game, instead of a horizontal one. Smith was a captain as a backup at Tech. Class President type. Can he throw receivers open? Will he not turn the ball over, when the team needs him?

Both!
We need to be a threat to blow the top off the defense. However the ability to keep it short, simple and execute is what drives consistent efficiency.
Nothing better than being able to do a little pitch and catch for an easy 6 + yards.

The best thing that can happen to Smith’s draft fortunes is to beat Oklahoma on the road. That will immediately turn heads and give him national exposure. If that happens, expect “Smith for Heisman” on this board.

I agree. We shall see his improvements. His best wideouts did not believe in him. I’m just suspicious of these improvements. Hopefully it is true.

what’s the over / under on interceptions this year? last year he threw 13.

Looking forward to seeing Smith this year. From what it sounds, the coaching staff plans to run multiple sets and allow him to audible more.

I’m also looking forward to seeing Chriss in situational plays. One thing he didn’t get to show during the spring game is his running ability.
