My concern remains our pitching. We aren’t going to score bunches of runs every night.
Framber has been hot and cold, France ok, while Verlander has proven how lucky we were to get him back.
And there are Javier and Brown who have both been really bad down the stretch.
Neither respond well to runners on base and both seem to have control problems.
The good news is both are young and still have bright futures.
The bad news is they both probably need to rest and go to the pen for awhile.
But once, we are in a stretch drive and it won’t happen for Javier.
Not feeling great about the playoffs but its still exciting to be in the hunt

You have 2 feel good about a quality 4th/5th starter in the future.
Its one of them stepping into a great 3d that really sets them up for 24/25.

We may see Maldy on the mound if this whippin gets worse

Kuhnel said on the post game he saw something on film this week that explained why he didn’t have the velocity he wanted. He said he made the fix and it amp’ed his velo.

I didn’t see the game.

Btw - why is he just finding this out this late? A multi billion dollar franchise. Is there a 100k a year pitching coach in our franchise that can help?
