I’m partial to this look. This is how the Coogs looked when I attended UH … Run n Shoot, Andre, Klingler, Jenkins, Spoon. Great days.

I absolutely love how many uniform / helmet combinations we have; Very Oregon-esque.
I like our standard red and white, but alternate unis are my favorite.
Yep! Those 90 degree angles on the U are so clean. That is the true skinny. Many folks mix it up with the academic logo (which is fantastic too).
I seem to recall that up until a few years ago the Athletic Logo always had to be different based on athletic revenue streams or something. Maybe some can recall the details better than me.
That said, we did use the Academic logo on the helmets from 95-98 just before going into the fat logo. So, not sure how that was able to happen. Looked good though and those were my 1st years in campus as a student.
Academic below. Not as skinny, and the U has doesn’t have the squared edges on the outside of the bottom.
