I can’t imagine being on that jury.

About time.

Sentenced to 60 years in prison. All of this could very well become a movie or some type of Nflx documentary in the future

I will have to miss that.

Everything that happened with the Harding St raid is something out of a movie. I’m surprised this trial didn’t get any national media coverage.

Thread is first I’m hearing this story. Surprised because several no knock cases made national news

It was big news in Houston.

They didn’t cover it on MTV, thats why you missed it.

Hilariously showing that you’re out of touch by thinking people younger than you rely on MTV for news still.

This was a no-knock case, but the bigger story was the completely fabricated “justification” for the warrant.

It was a joke, glad you found it funny. It was the only explanation i could think of, as it was all over tv, print, radio.

A very boomer response for sure.

Sure, if you count me laughing at you rather than with you.

5 years later. Before CovidI and George Floyd. Hard to believe how long these things take.

Have to go back further than 2019 for my last MTV watch. Only off by more than 20 years

@Coog51 why did this take 5 years? Is 5 years normal?

Covid? Delays by the defendant’s lawyers. It does not make sense. Why would you risk your career and freedom. Its not like if you found drugs on them that you are going to profit personally.

The courts were way backed up after COVID and all. Didn’t help they had just barely recovered from a hurricane flooding. The jury I served on last year was a case that was several years old like that.

They must have thought dragging it out was the best plan, right @Coog51
