-17 point dogs. K state just rode TCU and put them away wet. We lost a close one to a very good UT. So many emotions on our side on this one.
But I have to move on from Saturday. This is going to show you what kind of coach Holgy has become. Can he take all that spent emotion and heartbreak and keep the team going or will we come out flat, on the road, in 40 degree weather?
Our first true road game, i.e. leaving the state of Texas.
This is a well coached team. I would love for our players to still have that fire in them knowing we almost took down the whorns, but I think Kstate covers and we go back to reality. Please prove me wrong Coogs.
This game will tell a lot IMHO. Do we keep the MO going and come in a play competitively a very good Kansas team current B12 champs or we go back to hum drum. This is the most intriguing game of the season as far as I am concerned. If we get blown out I think it’s time to read the writing on the wall.
I’ve been pessimistic all season, so why change now? Yes, we’ve looked like a legit Big 12 team the past two games. If we keep that up, we should be able to win at least 3 of these last 5 and get bowl eligible. All things considered, I’d say that’s a successful season. Baylor, Cincy are both winnable, and we have a puncher’s chance against OSU and at Orlando.
But I am afraid we’ll see an emotional letdown this week. Hope I’m wrong.
They still owe us for Major, Dana the first, CUSA, Big East hopes, Joe Montana, Miami, Helton, Sumlin’s Southern Miss game, Briles Tulsa game, the SWC, continuity hires, 0-11, etc.
