One interesting storyline that I am sure will be covered in the broadcast is that TCU has three former UH coaches on staff. Briles is OC, Meacham is WR coach and Holgorsen is a defensive consultant, analyzing the opponents offense to make recommendations to the defensive coordinator. Ryan Dorchester is also at TCU, who was GM at UH under Holgorsen, and now Associate AD for Football Administration at TCU.
Holgorsen still gets buyout money even with a new job? Im not sure how it works, heard all kinds of things over time regarding the other ex UH coaches.
Emani Bailey had 23 CAR, 126 YDS, 1 TD vs. UH last year. He was drafted in third round by Birmingham Stallions.
TCU only averages 101 yards rushing per game. Cam Cook is the leading rusher 52 yards per game and a 3.5 yard per carry average. Four-star recruit … the No. 23 running back in the nation and No. 61 overall prospect in Texas in '23 class. Was injured last year.
Yes, but there are guys I hadn’t seen before on the 2 deep at WR. Also, a four deep at RB is different too
Update: looks like just Shoulders is off the WR 2 deep. Number 8 Williams was behind Jonah Wilson but moved over to Manjack’s position. Jayshon Ridgle is new on there I think. Sneed was 1 on depth chart vs ISU so not really different
