Per Kelvin on the radio show last nite, we won’t be wearing the blue ones again
I’m getting jittery already. I absolutely love when you walk in the arena and can just feel the buzz of all the fans!
You guys are right… those blue unis this year need to be destroyed.
The h-town blue unis need to be redesigned and improved for next year, and accompanied by an htown blue & red trimmed road white.
Agree - htown blue is such an important color for us, and we need to do it right.
I’m on board with H-Town blue only because it creates additional revenue for the UH Athletic Department. It is a totally manufactured legacy. Scarlet red and white are the schools colors.
Thank God!!! Hope they burned them!
I knew we had a smart head coach but now I know we have one that has common sense as well. Burn those blue jerseys or make them exclusive for the football program.
Oh yea, i saw that one a few weeks ago. Was hilarious.
Eggs Benedict State got some serious NIL $$ rolling in abt now.
I have one of those fans framed since I had some of the Phi Slama Jama sign the back of it at a game when I was a kid.

So what. People talk about bluebloods. After 83 we were. 5 final 4s, the Astrodome game, program win total top 10. Now we’re at that level. Walk the walk. The team does and has for about 10 years. Kentucky, Kansas, etc., people won’t show for Gameday?
ESPN calling us New Bloods.

Scarlet red and white are the schools colors
I didn’t know that . . . . . (sarcasm)
The school did Houston Blue for the money, it was a smart idea for revenue. There were changes that had to be made but they got it done. In terms of colors and things about UH, there wasn’t much desire to wear anything other than scarlet, white, and black.
I think it should stick solely with Football and have a general merch line outside of jerseys to sell and generate revenue for UH. It’s not for the other sports. It brings bad juju.
Sports fans are hilariously superstitious
Wonder what’s the earliest they let us park and gates open at Fertita for this one.
Starts at 1pm
I would be surprised and disappointed if there wasn’t a strong Iowa St. contingent of fans at the game. That brings additional energy to the game, making for a great broadcast.
