It’s official Gameday is coming to Houston on Saturday!!
I wonder what the crowd will look like.
Glad it’s now official since they announced it last Saturday.
I’m being pessimistic, but I’m thinking plenty of people will use the rain and cold as an excuse to not show up.
I hope it looks ok on tv and not embarrassing.
Well if anybody’s looking for excuses not to go and wants to give away tickets to a die hard COOG, my wife and I will go!
I come in peace! Good luck on Saturday. I would think at this point we have established a new rivalry and I hope we can pull the upset. We had a rough patch but now we have Milan back we’ve taken 4 in a row and seem to have regathered ourselves. Should be a battle against imo the top 2 teams once again in the b12

while 1-1 won’t be bad for us all things considered especially after the upset in tcu lowkey want 2-0 so the last week of the season can be pretty straightforward

I’m sure there are students who work part time jobs and Saturday happens to be a day they work (since there are no classes on Saturday, for the most part).
I have just never heard that as an excuse before. Is the student section typically less full on Saturday games?
If I had game tickets, I’d go to both.
Basketball gameday just ain’t football gameday. I doubt it draws a full arena anywhere, given that it was 3/4 empty last time they were here.
When was the last time they hosted? Who was the opponent? I would think an 8th ranked ISU would be a pretty significant draw for a Saturday afternoon
The last time gameday came was in 2019 when we played UCF. Iowa State Travels so there will be a lot of fans at the game for sure, perhaps Gameday 3 hours before the game will have 1/2 the arena filled
