Fritz is not the answers

He will be here 3 years. Will not win anything then get fired. Was there no top young offensive or defensive coordinators out there? Fritz offensive is boring we saw that yesterday. We had a chance to make a splash hire but we blew it. Please stop blaming Dana for yesterday it’s Fritz fault for the embarrassing lost to power house UNLV

If we hired some up and coming coach and then lost yesterday your post today would be how come we didn’t hire an experienced coach.

Fritz is not playing AAC teams any longer.

After looking at how Fritz is recruiting, worst case scenario even if he fails, he will leave a very loaded cupboard for the next coach. And while it may stink not having success I could at least take comfort knowing he still made a contribution to our future success. I’m just talking hypothetical right now.

I was upset last night but after having time to process Ive made my peace with whatever happens this season. I’m willing to buy that Fritz could turn it around because he is definitely turning the recruiting around at UH in a way I wouldn’t have believed.

It was one game. Albeit, a very bad one but it was one game. We need to have things start clicking in the Rice game and heading into conference play. By that point, I’ll reassess where the team is.

NIL will rule. If we have NIL money equivalent to our Big XII peers, we have a chance to be good. Saban got out knowing the reasons kids went to Bama won’t be enough because Bama doesn’t have big bags of money. It’ll take a few years to affect a juggernaut like Bama, but players will move for cash, even from Alabama.

If we don’t have comparable NIL money for football, we will almost always be an average team (if that). Gotta have some financial inducements to get players for CWF to coach.

I believe Fritz will turn us around BUT should he not, before you stick a fork in us (and it’ll be about that time THEN) you need to look long and hard at Art. He’ll be our last hope at that point.

Ehh . . . We’ll see. We have 247’s #3 class in the Big 12 and #32 overall. Definitely wouldn’t hurt to have a strong NIL game, but I’m not convinced it’s make or break.

There’s a reason 60+ players were brought in….and it’s not cause The Dud left a stocked cupboard. Recruiting still matters

Fritz has won at every level, I’ll take that track record at this level. Step back from the ledge and give the man time. 1 game isn’t time with 60 new players. The last guy didn’t give a crap that’s why we got a new guy.

Pearland is not on planet earth. Fritz is the guy. UNLV is better than people think. They will make noise this year in the MW.

Babs is 5 years older than G5 Willy. No.

Folks, we are dealing with many in this board who are not much more mature then 5 year olds. So deal with them tenderly. They will scream and complain but in the end they mean well :joy:

Were you at the game?

Have you ever owned season tickets?

Have you ever donated to Cougar Pride or any other organization associated with UH?

Have you ever traveled to a bowl game?

Have you ever supported any head coach at UH?

If the answer is no to most of these then your opinion doesn’t really matter.
