I don’t believe it’s all that “fixable” as I consider it a byproduct of our defensive intensity. They take offensive plays off to rest. Either we truly get 9-10 deep, with no drop-offs, or we scale back the defensive intensity. Those are the only 2 solutions to being tired, and I doubt CKS would be up for dropping defensive requirements. Heck he might not be willing to trust a second five with equal minutes to the first five and why would five guys, just as good as the starters, all want to be coming off the bench?
Offense was ugly, but giving up 85 doesn’t look like good defense either. Plenty to work on, thankfully we have a coach that will do just that!

As someone who dogs the offense, agreed; this was a rare L by the defense.
Rec leagues are for people that can’t score in street ball…
Although, I do like my ring I won at YMCA last season…

The defense was elite for the first 12-15 minutes but we have to play more guys to continue that pace.
The refs did not help by calling a foul on anyone that was in the general area of an Alabama player.
There were many phantom calls.

Lmao, I also reffed some sports and played intramural flag football, basketball, soccer, dodgeball for my organization back in the day at UH.
The refs were certainly not great either. The good thing about Sampson though is his history of elite defenses. He will get the defense fixed I’m sure, but his offense always concerns me come tournament time.

It’s November. We have two losses to top ten teams. One on OT. One in the last minute.
It’s not like we are Indiana and just lost by 28 to an unranked team.
