I had an old coworker who called and talked about going to the game at Fertitta. This was last season and hadn’t heard a peep from dude until tonight to gloat. That is tech fans for you.

I didn’t see everything that led up to it, but I heard some noise and turned around just in time to see the UH fan get punched in the face, and then someone pushed the one who threw the punch and he fell forward. Then it just turned into a grappling match and then I ran up to get the cops.
Just drives me bonkers when stuff like that happens, especially with kids around.

This was Tech’s first win vs UH in basketball since the 2013-14 season.
I don’t blame them for celebrating.

Celebrating is one thing. But the brawls and douchery is their calling card. These things happen with other schools they play or that go to Lubbock

Yeah, celebrating is totally fine. Tech fans are often hostile/rude/aggressive, which is totally different. At least far moreso than most other school’s fans.

I would be angry too if I have not seen a BCS/NY6 bowl game lol.
They are the only P4 team in Texas without a major bowl win since the BCS started.
I’m still pissed at them for losing to Virginia in the championship game.
I had money on that game lol.
Walking out the stadium there was some 12 year Tech fan trash talking and starting a fight with a grown man. His parents did and said nothing. Pathetic.
