ESPN Chances of Reaching the Final Four

Auburn is the team to beat.

Who cares?
I could care less if espn is thinking we can reach the final four. I am looking at one game at a time. Right now i will happy, very happy to be in the top eight. We are not healthy enough to even consider a final four run. What matters most is to get healthy. After that we can talk. These projections are click bait, nothing more, nothing less. CKS would tell you the exact same thing. There a ton of very good teams. Apart from one or two teams all can win it all.

This teams culture is fit to be the underdog with a chip on their shoulder
Not the 1st seed or team with the best odds

It is hard to say who the best team is. I have seen Duke play a bunch and from the eye test you could absolutely say they are BUT the quality of competition in the ACC isn’t on par with Big 12 or the SEC.

On any given night we are the best team in college basketball BUT if we get refs who call it close and we can’t play our style of basketball we will have a tough time getting out of the second weekend.

So you have to land on Auburn.

Kansas beat Duke and Duke beat Auburn.

Auburn looks the best to me. They can win so many ways. Even without their best player.

My post was hidden for what reason?

We see a ton of click bait articles until the a competition happens. What matters to me is our own health. March madness is coming but it is still weeks away. We have to get healthy.

Instead of these articles I would like to see:
Teams ranking with physical issues. That might explain why some teams get upset. If there is such a site that would be great to read.

Certainly would be a worthy article.

What’s the problem?

The NFL post an injury report. Be great to have the same for March madness.

I think you have two problems doing that.

  1. Student privacy laws
  2. There would be no way to truly standardize the reporting with all the institutions

In this thread it took a lengthy explanation with directions of how to get to this “click bait”. Sneaky ESPN

Good points because these athletes are students. They are not professionals
but now you have NIL

The NIL doesn’t change student privacy laws.

I am trying to find the student privacy laws. Share it please.

Not sure if HIPPA would also apply.

HIPAA would not apply unless they are “covered entities” as defined in HIPAA, which is health care providers, health plans, or health care clearinghouses.
