Good press for DS. I do hope he shines this season.

Have said it here, if Donnie can cut down his picks,
we contend for the big12 title.

I’d love to see it happen, but I don’t see it happening.

If he can limit turnovers, and make a few highlight plays, someone will take a shot at him due to his size.

Dude has a lot of untapped potential, needs to put it all together - think we have the coaching staff in place that can get everything out of him

This is exciting

We aren’t watching the same guy is all I’m saying.

What?

First round? We can hope.

Why would this OC put Smith in the 1st round? Aren’t we going be run heavy? Even if he is a part of the run why would the NFL see that as 1st round

He’s got the tools in theory , if he gets proper coaching it could happen

JJ McCarthy was in a heavy run first offense at Michigan and got drafted 10th in this year’s NFL draft.

Don’t know if Donovan will be a first round pick but the decision isn’t fully driven by offensive system nor W/L records. QBs of bad teams could theoretically get picked high.

None of us have seen Donovan healthy for a full season. This is the biggest question for me. We are reading that he will be ready by July. Obviously Donovan got a lot more serious injury that we were told and why should we.
Donovan fully healthy is still a diamond in the rough but what I like about Donovan is his intellect. Have a balance offense around him is the best possible way to success for Donovan. Now let’s look at what he has at its disposal:
OL getting better
Running offense getting better
Blocking TE’s getting better
Improved TE’s…huge for this offense
Remember that now we have potentially, yes potentially a triple option offense.
Look at the additions:
Jake Wiley - OL - 6’6" - We now have three 6’6" O linemen.
Cedric Melton - OT
Dakota White - IOL
Mekhi Mews - Slot R
Maliq Carr - TE…6’6" - We now have five TE’s at 6’4" or more (two at 6’6")
Jayden York…from TT so I am assuming he knows Donovan well.
I am pumped for our upcoming season. I truly believe we are going to surprise many.

You have no idea what we will run. Did HCWF told you what he would do?

We don’t need a full season. lol.
