I feel like the defense gets frustrated at our offense and gives up on them. That’s 2 games in a row our offense LITERALLY did not score.

That’s one of the reasons I think we could turn this around quick. I think Fritz’s is going to be aggressive in the portal on offense. If we had average QB play with this team we would have won 8+ games.

If we had average OLine play we would have had a winning record.
QB play is predicated on the Oline.
Just look at CJ Stroud after losing one side of a good Oline.

I took my cousin to the game last night. Coog alum as well but hasn’t really kept up with the athletics. He asked me how our team is doing before the game. I said…
“Our defense is phenomenal. Could possibly be one of the best in the nation soon enough. But, our offense is trash. Our QB has wheels but can’t read the field and is inaccurate. Our OL couldn’t block a scarecrow. We can’t move the ball. So our defense ends up running on fumes because they’re on the field too much.”
And that ended up being the script for the game.

The offensive line has improved. We are moving the ball on the ground. The issue is play calling and QB in my opinion. Most of the interceptions thrown were not because of pressure.

Too many pressures when blitzed leads to incompletions…and pressing. Gotta play within yourself. Incomplete is better than interceptions.

Friends think about the amount of time that our defense has been on the field. Truly remarkable. Great job by our S&C coaching staff. We are going to be lucky to keep our DC.
