None of those people were thrown under bus. Dawson got to move on to Miami. Carrier wasn’t getting recruits, his replacement Shorts is. Jones had the same problem and no short yardage ground game.

To CDH’s credit he has been very patient with Belk. Could’ve considered canning him after last year with some of our defensive performances.

IMO , and this is just me but I don’t think quality DC’s are lining up to coach at UH when they see a HC on the hot seat.

Shorts has done well with recruiting it seems but the Carrier stuff is still really odd.

All the recent guys give Shorts credit for their recruitment. Golden, Manjack, MHP all list Shorts as the reason.
Yes his years as an all conference player, Shorts was his coach.

Yup Dawson looks better in Miami & it looks like McCaskill & Camron Johnson made the right choice to leave as well. Guess they were right that this is a sinking ship with Dana as the captain
