Spavital just took the Cal job. Not sure he would back out to come here.
My gut says that we’re going to elevate from within (new QB coach maybe also becomes co-OC) with Holgorsen distractedly calling the same sort of plays we’ve seen up to this point.

That was my initial thought upon first hearing the news. It would be a sneaky great hire if he had the interest. Only question is, would he have the interest???

No. And I doubt Spavital would come since he just accepted the job at Cal, but he might. We are promoting assistant QB coach Mike Burchett to QB coach. Maybe Dana will take over the OC job.
