What do you think of our new OC?
Comments like these have never boded well for us.
A team that fired their HC, had their 3rd string, and 2nd string RB playing at times, with from the looks of it a heavily injured offense, along with a disjointed coaching staff, and an OC who was successful at his 2 previous stops… Ya they don’t know what they’re talking about.

The guy produced great results at previous stops. App State going into College Station and putting up a ton of points in a win over the Aggies suggests that he know what he is doing. Did he forget how to coach when he arrived in Starkville, Mississippi? Probably not.

They will see it soon enough. That BS will last about 20 minutes @ USC.
It’s little things. Post it on twitter or X with the coaches bio. It gets attention. Coming from official school account means more.
But u must still get your advertisement from a newspaper. It’s all good. Nothing wrong with that.
The school can’t post something until it’s official with paperwork done. Just because we know who it’s going to be doesn’t mean we’re killing momentum or buzz as i’s are getting dotted and t’s crossed.

Do we know what position he’ll coach?
QB’s is what I heard initially. The hope is to bring in the QB out of Dripping Springs that Bell is very close with or the kid leaving USC n let either one of those compete w D. Smith for starting job!!
Edit: knowing how i know Fritz likes to use his QB, I’m concerned if Smith is fit to be honest.

Clayton benefited greatly from being injured. It forced him to be a much better pocket passer. Donovan is a very smart kid. He too can greatly benefit for HCWF. I want to see a true QB “battle” with the other QB’s. Let the best man win.

Smith was much better passing wise as a pass first QB. When given the option to run more, that is where I felt his game fell off.
