We’re not on the gold standard. While a traditional precious metal, it’s just an investment.
If the what the preppers think is gonna happen happens, gold bars won’t be worth much.
It’s like no one has been watching the long running documentary series, “The Walking Dead”.

Saying that, Costco is a great place to buy bullion. They sell almost at spot price. If you go to a dealer, they have to make money so they’ll sell well above spot.
