Memphis @ Green Wave tonight
May be the 2nd time I root for Memphis. Tired of seeing Tulane ranked so high for doing nothing.
miss st - ole miss egg bowl moved to midday friday. abc negotiated the move when getting the sec contract. too bad. i really liked those thanksgiving night college games, probably goes back to ut-ags.
i’m for memphis, i liked the campus and city and i know there is a lot of memphis hate here but i feel sorry for them; they are likely to get washed out of big time college football and basketball in the NIL era. they coulda had moments in basketball but likely to lose out now.
All ways liked they way Memphis churned out RBs. D. Williams, Pollard, Henderson, etc
Btw, They have Tulane on the ropes, leading 24-10. Fun ending coming up.
If this keeps up, then so much for the theory that Tulane was playoff worthy, or that the AAC champ would have a better claim to a playoff auto bid than the Big 12 champ.

Tulane has a decent case if they can pull off the win, their 2 loses were to k-state and ou, both ranked at the time with a title game vs army on deck. The American is much weaker conference than the Big12 but going unbeaten in it still pretty impressive.
Neither OU nor Kansas State is currently ranked.
Tulane is losing.
Never thought Tulane was worthy to be in the playoff discussion.
Their SOR coming into this week was #28. They’re majorly overrated. They’d struggle to make a bowl on our schedule imo.
Memphis indisciplined as usual . Watch them implode.
Still don’t see Tulane getting in over the big12 champ.
KState probably should be but yah OU was pretty down this year and they got stomped.l by them.
Memphis does love coughing up three score leads lol
Memphis comes through for the B12
Memphis is basically doubling up Toolame in NOLA.
No AAC playoff crasher this year.
Boise State can still crash and burn before or during their championship game, wouldn’t rule out the AAC champ from the playoffs.
Tulane fans doing a lot of talking this week about how they would win run the B12. The overconfidence jinx rarely fails
Even if Boise loses to Oregon St, the winner between them and UNLV will be higher ranked than the AAC champ
The MWC champ will be the ONLY G5 bid.
Does Memphis get the AAC title game now?
Possibly, thinking a 1 loss Army has a chance at G5 bid if they win out. Remote, but wouldn’t rule it out completely.
Agree, Boise and UNLV have the inside track
