I am probably going to post and spam this through this week and next, but:
Cage Rage is back again! It’s the annual pep rally for students and alumni, open to the public, to hype up for the Football Season!
Don’t miss out on all the fun at Cage Rage! Grab your friends and come on down to the field at TDECU Stadium! Enjoy music from DJ Yobi Yobz, Bingo, games, inflatables, selfie stations, skills challenges, and much more! Plus, you can get entered in for some great raffle prizes including a football autographed by Coach Holgorsen, a basketball autographed by Coach Sampson, and one student will have a chance to kick a 45-yard field goal to win $12,000 to celebrate our entrance into the Big 12 Conference. Enjoy the Cage Rage tailgate area with free snacks and drinks while supplies last and fun tailgate and video games. You will also enjoy the Pep Rally with the Spirit of Houston Band, Cheer and Dance teams, plus Coach Holgorsen and Houston Cougar Football players! We will also debut the Football Intro video. The night will end with a spectacular fireworks show! Enter the stadium through gate 2 and there is free parking in lots 12A and 12B.
But more importantly, that same day, at 8PM, right on campus in the Fertitta Center, UH will be HOSTING USC in a volleyball match. Regardless of whether or not the pep rally happens at 8PM, just go to the Volleyball game. Get your football fix then pack out the Fertitta Center to make the greatest home volleyball advantage in history
I’ve grown to love the sport the more and more I watch it, even catching minute details in the game (potential sign stealing, tactics and adjustments by players, weird tricks to distract). My sisters played it as well.
If you are coming to Cage Rage, make a stop at the Fertitta Center. This game is going to be FUN
So, did anyone go to this pep rally in downtown on Saturday? How was it?

If you look the entire band was moved from the middle to the far left side by the stage and I had to zoom out the get the entire crowd in the frame, figured there was 40%-50% more people this year, also they figured out the gate situation because last year there was literally a line around the stadium to get in and I saw no line this year. Also at the kickoff event Pezman said that they pushed the gates out at the main corners to accommodate more metal detectors and ticket scanners for the larger crowds.
