Let’s go!!! BOOM!
He’s a 6’-5” 275# LT
Great size.
Isn’t 275 a little light for a tackle?
Yes. He signed with GMC as a 245 pound TE. I think he’s only been a college player for one year, so he should come in with four years to play three. And I am pretty sure we’ll want him to bulk up by 20 pounds or more. He had offers from Tulane, East Carolina, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, and Troy.
About time we get some booms in the o-line!
Depends on what type of offense schemes we’re going to run in 2024!
He can always put on 10-15 lbs of lean mass in the next year and be a force in the pass game!
The late bloomer guys who can add weight to their frames are always guys you want. They usually don’t carry as much bad weight & maintain quickness & flexibility
He looks like he’s playing against high school guys. He’s tall, has great feet and long arms. If UH puts him in the weight room and feeds him he could be pretty good.
The kid simply needs to drink three Joe Weider protein shakes per day until next Fall.
Not if he’s got good feet
Simple answer is YES that is light if that’s what he ends at
Get him to 290# before fall camp.
H.S. no, these kids are still growing. He could easily add another 20-30 lb of muscle if he’s gotlight feet you don’t want to ruin that so you add the weigh slowly along with strengthening and conditioning
It’s light for a P5 OT.
As I said, he needs to double down on the weights….and start drinking three protein shakes a day on top of his regular food.
I am more concerned with his height. He will bulk up with some nice creatine but at 6’5" it is not 6’7".
Or…beer and Pizza
Not just height, but the length of his arms (wingspan). He could have long arms.
Worked for me. Still does…
I think UH has a nutritionist. There are formulas…
