Coming up with any scenario where the PAC survived usually also means the Big 12 would’ve died

I don’t see a scenario where both the PAC and Big 12 survive as power conference

Nor do I.

The PAC could have raided and destroyed the Big 12 when UT/OU left, and decided not to.

That proved to be a FATAL decision for them.

I heard you can buy a PAC12 conference commissioner media negotiation expansion pack. When you order the pack, it just redirects you to Contra without the cheat code. You can’t win. You only lose.

I do not think SEC will add either Clemson or FSU nor do i think B1G will add FSU. No one cared what aTm thought about adding Texas and OU but the contempt that Florida and SC have for their in state competition can move mountains. Also the behavior of FSU towards its conference hasnt made them any friends in any conference. Bobby Bowden is dead and his rotting corpse plus 180 million isnt gonna break that GoR. Greg Sankey doesnt want the headache of a school and donors that think they can.

The idea that the B1G would take that headache over Duke/UNC and Notre Dame is laughable as well

OMG! I forgot about Luck helping the PAC12.

It is humorous how Memphis and SMU are attempting to put together conferences using themselves, MWC, ACC and the remaining PAC teams to create something they think will garner the attention of a media company that will pay for such a conference.

What they dont understand is the Apple $20mil deal was for Washington and Oregon and possibly a few others that already bolted for the Big12. Nowhere should anyone even consider the PAC remainder worth the same deal and adding Memphis, SMU and almost any other G5 makes the deal worse.

I suppose it gives them a false sense of hope but I suspect they are stuck in the AAC and the PAC is not a lifeboat

Even with Oregon/Washington/Four Corners, I don’t think Apple really took the deal all too serious. It wasn’t a big deal if the PAC refused it.

That being said, I think streaming sports such as the deal similar to Apple, is definitely the future of sports. However, right now it’s still a bit too premature. I think the professional sports leagues need to enter that market before college sports for it to gain real traction.

WVU’s former QB and athletic director did a great job for us. LOL

Stanford football independent. MWC 4 Olympic Sports makes sense.
“Why can’t Washington State play at Florida Atlantic? The mileage between those two is 3,000, by the way.”
“The AAC and Mountain West appear to be locked in a race
which league is the better option?”

Twitterverse already talking about lawsuit rumors against FOX. Now, how real is very much up for debate.

A Beaver fan suggested offering the SEC to pay them a low low price of $30M a year.

Beaver fans also think they can get AAC media deal to more than double in value by adding Pac 4 and renegotiating

Bless their hearts. We said the same before we got 7M.

365 Sports is talking about the PAC 4 possibly going to the AAC.

Maybe Stanford thinks Rice, Tulane, & Navy are a better class of opponents than the MWC schools

I’d have to agree there.

In the MWC, only AFA would qualify as academically elite.

That conference also has several R2s.
