Big 12 Report Card (Final Exam ASU-ISU)

Kansas still has Colorado, BYU and Iowa State.

If they can at least get one of those knocked out, it will help tremendously.

It’s very unlikely that UH makes it to the championship even if they win out, but UH really lucked out with the teams they’ve beaten and lost to.

Hard fought wins! Just looking at the final scores of Kansas going woah, kind of wild. Kansas is actually a really good team. They could very easily go 4-0 down the stretch and I would not be surprised.

@DannyCougar what a brutal schedule for Kansas

They could lose out. Baylor is playing good ball

I don’t think it’s that brutal

I think Iowa State is a tad overrated. Colorado hasn’t played anyone really other than Kansas State who they lost to.

BYU is the only team that I’m confident enough to say will destroy Kansas

Baylor has played all the top teams already nearly losing to BYU and Colorado

Step back for a moment and remember when the discussions were about memphis, ecu and tulsa…

Week 11 updates: Colorado now in the driver seat along with BYU, as ASU stays steady, KSU idle.

I personally over reacted last night calling the conference garbage over a tough call to swallow. But i swear to goodness i am muting any coogfan for life if you root for BYU to be undefeated and us be a two bid league over a Houston Cougar victory in the season finale.

Last night showed me that UH if they remain lids on fire, can and will go 3-0 to finish the season.

The B12 standings are just nuts

While Arkansas is only 5-4 (3-3 in SEC) they did give Tenn their only conference loss. They also lost to last place Oklahoma State.

A lot of above average to very good teams in the Big 12. It just does not seem that way with the wins and losses evening out in conference play.

I’m so pissed UCF couldn’t beat AZ State.

I think they are nice.

@RezClone I am sorry that all the injuries happened to your squad. I was looking forward to a cougs cyclones championship.

Wow I appreciate the nuanced comment.

It’s part of the game, and there’s no excuse for a Cyclone defense to get absolutely torched in every way like we were on Saturday. It is what it is.

Sitake and BYU have earned everything they’ve gotten, and to do so after a tough first year where they were humbled and took their licks, to come back and put this season together has really shown me something. They certainly look like they will earn the right to represent the Big 12 this year. Thank you for making Utah cry even more.

Iowa State has arguably the top environment in football, basketball, and even women’s basketball in the big 12. The fans travel really well. I’ve only ever encountered kind cyclones.

As a fan base, y’all deserved to finish in the championship.

Matt Campbell seems to do everything the right way, too. I’m cheering for 10-2 for y’all, and for Colorado to slip up.

Ute tears are the best tears.

Thank you for saying that. BYU is certainly right there, too. Top notch venues and crowds.

That basketball game at the Marriot Center last year was almost certainly our only loss where we weren’t competitive from start to finish. BYU clearly outclassed ISU from start to finish. In the rematch, the Cyclones were LUCKY to come away with the win at Hilton Coliseum. Hilton Magic stole that one. BYU had it wrapped up for about 39 minutes.

As a side note on basketball, ALL of us agree BYU is our kryptonite from a matchup standpoint. I want no part of BYU basketball.

Also, most people assume Hilton Coliseum is named in connection to the hotel people in some way shape or form. It’s actually just named in honor of a University President we had back in the day. He’s not related to the hotel people.

So I did a quick google search on the Marriott Center because I wondered if that was the same case for BYU. I’m a little disappointed for no good reason to learn that we do not in fact share that in common. Lol!

BYU, Arizona State, and Colorado all hold their own fates in their own hands.

As BYU @ Arizona State and Colorado@ Kansas (Arrowhead).

Just amazing to think ASU was a doormat just a few months ago.
See friends…

Even crazier the pac12 came in and took vengeance!

Tiebreaker rules

Also, ISU isnt out of contention yet, and very easily could squeak in

Apparently BYU still currently has the tiebreaker on ISU with the common opponent, talk about cats have 9 lives. Not sure if K-State is a chip shot for ISU either. Gonna be a ton of Houston Cougar fans next week.

Buffs need a combination of two teams losing next week, their chances may be done

– Apparently due to Houston’s record ISU will get the tiebreaker with a win over KSU, hilarious!

It will be a wild week… that’s for sure.
