Baylor visitors section?

Me and my wife plan on going up for the Baylor game. Does anyone know where the visitors are seated? No away game tickets are available on the UH site.

This is what their site says.

Visitor Section at McLane Stadium - RateYourSeats.com.

Pretty bad, really. Another reason to dislike Waco.

I think it is a Big 12 rule that visitors get the top corner. That’s where the UTSA visitor section was Saturday.

I’ll just be buying week of game. At least from the designated visitor sections, you have a great areal view of the field.

Of course they are the sunniest seats in the stadium lol

Come November, those might be the best ones.

I wanted to do the K-State game but couldn’t get wife to travel 2 weekends in a row. Baylor it is then. Hoping for an 11a kick so don’t have to stay overnight.

It would be interesting to see what the rule is.

Some of those ticket prices

btw you can get $25 GA berm seats on Baylors site

It shows us scattered around the stadium.

Section 329 is for the visiting band. The other visitor seats are in the opposite endzone.

If that’s a rule then it seems it would be prohibitive for visiting attendance. I don’t want to sit at the top endzone. Hell, you’d need a #% HAM radio for the Coogs to hear you.

Seems like they’d give the visitors one corner ribboned all the way up.

I don’t believe it is a written rule. I seem to remember there being some lower level seating and upper level at one point about the time TCU move to the Big 12.

I think (think being the important word here vs know) UT started putting everyone one in the upper corner for their games, so the other schools started returning the favor. Unfortunately, once started, it is hard to get the lower seats back from season ticket holders to move any visitors back down.

Once SEC had a rule (may still have), that the schools had to offer some lower level sections for visitors. Not sure how UT will be able to do that now when they move. The SEC rule may not exist any longer either.

Based on how they did against Texas State, and their schedule for the remainder of 2023, it may not be tough at all to get good seats from a Baylor season ticket holder. Plus they have 8 home games (that’s their 7th home game in their first 9 games), so I think their fans are going to be dressed as empty seats by then.

I bought a pair of seats from the BU tix office in Section 229, below the band block. Great seats, great view, great price, done deal!

Is it correct that our ticket office will not be selling tickets to the Baylor game? Living in Austin, this is my closest conference game, and I’m not worried about getting a ticket, but just wondering.

From my understanding they had them early in the summer and any that did not sell have already been returned. Their visit section sucks is known to be worst sections and their tickets were $100 ea and you can get better tickets cheaper on the secondary.

Schools typically sell away tickets in the summer. I can’t speak for Houston, but BYU stops accepting away game ticket requests July 1.
