Remember Joe Dumars went to McNeese State. It is very beneficial to have an “antenna” from there. Good to hear.
Just curious… what became of the GA at Miss. State that was announced as a GA at the same time our new OC was determined? Am I confused or is the young, promising GA still coming to UH?
Connor Champion…he’s actually not a GA as he’s still working through his undergrad; he’s an intern officially.

This is strange. Jefferson was the one who posted a tweet saying that he would be with Houston as a GA, but has since deleted that tweet:
Houston sports information director David Bassity said coach Major Applewhite adamantly denied that Jefferson has been brought on. Houston recently hired Applewhite, previously the team’s offensive coordinator, as head coach after head coach Tom Herman departed for Texas.
This is odd. I even welcomed him to the HTownTakeover on Twitter.
