That is where I’m at as well. Getting to the 1 line would take an incredible run and some teams to fall off.

He has never played basketball in his life……maybe no sports at all.

He has asthma attacks walking to the end of the driveway to check the mail.

He wears a storm trooper helmet when filling out his weekly ballot.

He still carries a punch card from Blimpie where you order 10 subs, you get the next one free.

We are going to be the 2 or 3 seed that every 1 seed will be praying doesn’t end up in their bracket.

Frankly, I am not going to worry about rankings for another month. After that my only concern will be seeding for “the Dance”.

does he respond?

He has Memphis at #10

Apparently very impressed by Memphis’ two 4-pt home wins last week, against ECU and North Texas. :man_facepalming:

Memphis has beaten Michigan State, UConn and Ole Miss. Those wins are more impressive than beating unranked teams.

You’re not helping the narrative Sir!:laughing:

On a neutral court UH beats Memphis 9/10 times.

And you say beat “ranked” teams……well it’s people like this guy that make them “ranked” teams.

Any poll that does not have UH in the top 25 is absolute trash….

Losing to Arkansas State at home by 13 is pretty impressive.

The wildest part of these rankings is the cherry-picking that takes place. Some pollsters love ranked wins and think they cancel out any need to consider terrible losses, blowout losses, home losses, etc. Why is Memphis’ win over any of those teams more important to their ranking than losing at home to Arkansas State? UConn was ranked #2 when Memphis beat them by 2 on a neutral floor. Now UConn is ranked #14, with 3 of their 4 losses coming against currently unranked teams. Memphis does have some good wins. They also have a bad loss and some very close calls against lesser teams on their home floor. The point is, if you want to find a justification for your ranking, you can.

Mich. St, UConn and Ole Miss are still good wins according to the metrics.
