Alumni Verification

An email that comes to me “from” someone who didn’t actually send it is always going to get auto-trashed.

That’s what makes the thing look scammy or like political fundraising.

It’s just a terrible way to engage alumni.

Yep I received this email too

I deleted it already but it was from someone that was a ‘89 grad

Anything to do with this?

UH did something similar to this a few years ago, direct from the University. I see no need to verify what I’ve already given them. Particularly to a third party.

Mike Pede. But it wasn’t actually from him.

It’s so they can do the sales rope-a-dope.

I don’t know about anyone else, but once they start asking for money, I get irritated that I didn’t see it coming and I’ll never buy the product.

Personal motto? :grinning:

Right now, yes! Self-awareness is never bad.

I called and verified my info and was then subject to the sales pitches to buy their directory etc. What is terrible is their system does not allow for an Alum who graduated with a business degree, to list BBA as the degree. Only Bachelor of Science or Arts available. The representative could not explain why BBA was not available. Told her I was very proud of my BBA from U of H and their system sucked since BBA was not available.

I wonder if JD is available?

So stupid. How could they not have that available? Another reason to complain about this company.

I believe I saw JD.
