OK, then why not have a 24 team playoff like the FCS division? BTW, I have no clue where I got the 16 team from.
If they went to a 24 team playoff, all FBS conferences should be included.

I alreasy said it before. They need a top 35 list. That way seeding and rankings become more even and creates more bubble teams for national champion play offs and secondary tournament for lesser ranked teams
At least they got a game out West. Arizona State could’ve gotten a bowl in West Phoenix metro or the Rose Bowl but instead got Atlanta!
FCS then 1-AA used to have a 16 team playoff a few years back.

Totally agree with that.
They will do away with home playoff games. Teams will throw games to get one. Too much money to be earned, and home field advantage. It will be abused.
Curious as to how losing more games will give a team home-field advantage?
Until recently, FCS was 16-team playoff for decades.

Idk if im 100% correct but x amount of the lower seeds gets a play-in home game and the higher seeds get the 1st round bye.
