Just kidding. I’ve tried. And every time…I’ve absolutely cut myself to ribbons. I guess I’m not a “real man.”
That said, a $7 safety razor from Dollar General together with a some cheap stainless steel disposable blades are all you need for bladed shaving.
Cartridge razors of all kinds are too expensive for what they do. I only use them to shave the back of my neck.
I recommend the following, if you’re going to blade shave (and to be honest, a Norelco or Panasonic wet/dry electric razor with soap or cream is every bit as good).
