So since 1968, Trump is the only person running for president that has refused to do a sit down interview with 60 minutes.
Should be telling to the voters, but that would be expecting the electorate to be informed. They are too consumed with believing in conspiracy stuff.

The media cleans up trump more than most think.
In any case, no one voting for trump cares if he’s cleaned up. They are voting for him no matter what.
He doesn’t like being challenged and that’s why he backed out. JMO
60 minutes was trying to create a compare and contrast show that was a stand in for the second debate.
They would have allowed Harris to clean up her answers (which they did) and would have selectively picked Trump’s worst answers.
Trump was smart not to do it.
