It’s definitely exciting as it’s another example how far Sampson and his staff have built the program. Have all the faith in the world that some really good prospects will be signing with us. The question is who? Let’s see how it plays out.

I hope to some day get the low down on how exactly Emanuel played such a prominent role in this. Intriguing!
As far as Emmanuel Sharp helping recruit him to UH they were both highly rated 6’4 SG coming off major injuries before coming to UH may play a role. They’re both not from Texas, too! Maybe that played a role when he visited.
Alan Bishop will help him get back in top shape and great diet. Get him strong for 2025 season. With the help of John Houston who is our sports medicine guy.

@Joprior23 Do you think Harwell’s commitment (assuming it’s to UH) will cause some other guys to sign here? Or are all these guys completely independent of each other?
Use your imagination.
Recruits are usually paired with a current player or two and typically ones who Coach feels can deliver that connection.
Still remember when we hosted a recruit and the guys were playing at the rec center. Coach Haralson had to run over to the team and RP them for not engaging with the recruit and hen they were finished. Not going to mention a name but he did come here but didn’t do much ch before leaving.
Stuff like that wouldn’t happen with this program and the interactions would be authentic.

The (2) years Rodney Terry has had roster control. Hes brought in 5+ transfers each offseason
Development at UH, over the roster turnover/quick fix approach at Texas

TJ Ford prefers his guys to play for Kelvin Sampson. And I will leave it at that.
Obviously money is a big piece of the puzzle, too. But all else equal, TJ prefers Sampson.
