Replace Texas State with Arkansas and UTsa with Oklahoma. That would be a better conference.

No. We dont need any G5 trash like Rice, Texas State or UTSA in a conference with hs.

I “tried” to guesstimate how teams are trending going into next year. I think 8 wins next year is super realistic.

The expectation should be 8 wins for next season.

You mean “G5 trash” like UH was 3 years ago?

Give me a break… All schools in D-I who pay NCAA dues and fund 85 scholarships are the same and deserve the same shot to participate and be eligible for championships and even move around for better conference fits. Any school can compete for championships if they’re given equal opportunities in terms of $.

Everyone here seems to think UH would be a top 10 program if we would have been “let in” to the BCS. Well the exact same is true for UNT, SMU, Texas State and others.

I really don’t get some of you and the utter lack of awareness, or maybe it’s just hypocrisy? UH was going to be left out again… Before the politics played in our favor… And even when given acess UH football has sucked… But sure, you go right ahead and call other schools “trash”. That’s a great look for you.

Not convinced TT is a loss, home game for us and they have a lot of question marks

I’m Fine moving them to toss up. Hopefully we can have a strong field advantage next year

If they can integrate the talent they’ve picked up well, we will have our work cut out for us.

It’s somewhat similar to us (Houston). If we can get the talent to mesh well we should be pretty good.

Is this the thread where we get all fired up over meritless predictions of grandeur that will set up our annual week 2 meltdown where everyone must be fired because everything is awful?

Is this the thread where we complain about meritless predictions and then provide nothing of substance to the conversation besides being a whiny little Neanderthal?

7 in Houston. Should be a fun fall.

It is a 6 game winning streak, not 9. Our last win was 2009, and those 6 losses were Summie, Apple and Dana. We have real coaches this time around. We’re playing them at home, so i think we will beat them. Utah and Kansas State found out we are tough at home this past year, even without an offense.

That’s a really good home schedule. Home crowds should improve

Wow our last win against Texas tech was 15 years ago.

Ya, I would like to just play them in basketball only from now on.

Wonder if we’ll pull out the Luv Ya Coogs blue unis against Tech or TCU.
