Portal opens Monday. Need a coach in place this week.

Blake Shapen the Baylor qb is entering the portal along with Nate Johnson the backup QB at Utah, Max Johnson at A&M. Still early but looks to be some good talent in the portal already.
Figured I’d get this started now. With a new coaching staff coming in we might be looking at all options at QB, OL and in the secondary

Tyler Van Dyke would be a good fit at SMU. Rhett Lashlee was the OC at Miami during his freshman season where he won ACC Freshman of the year in 2021. Maybe not though because they still have Preston Stone who looked pretty good for them this season.
Kurt Warner apparently told Dana to take a look at EJ when he was coming outta HS. Dana said no.
