If our future guards can’t shoot, and we have limited scholarships, would you pick another guard in the transfer portal rather than our obvious need for an experienced big ?

Unfortunately i think we’ll only have 1 scholarship open for the portal
Cause they want Dedan Thomas to reclassify. Obviously he has options (Arizona, UCLA, Florida, etc)
I look at this years Big 12 and Kansas and Texas got away with not great size. Kansas won the league with 6ft 7" KJ Adams at Center
I’m taking an experienced shooter/Kyler Edwards type if it’s me.
Look at Baylor, if they’re 3 guards could just defend, they’d be a National Title threat. Cause they can shoot the lights out
I need more 3pt shooting. All of our guards can shoot the 3pt better next season. But i want a sniper, that stretches defenses. Sharp and Arceneaux? Any of those guys making 100 3s next season. Thats a sniper. Which weve had (Armoni, Corey, Quentin)

People need to go back and look at Armoni’s freshman numbers. He was also weaker on defense as a frost than either

I don’t think Armoni even tried to put the ball on the floor until he was a junior. It was easy to scout Armoni his first two years here.
Sharp and TA are well ahead of Armoni at this point in their careers. They just need to keep working.

This! He showed flashes today of what he can do. Loved his dribble drive to the hoop.
Both him and Sharp should much more settled in next year and both will be really good outside shooters.
However I’m thinking both will help in our trip to the title

Ezra Ausar and Kevin Cross put on good auditions however we need a veteran presence and I’m not sold on Cross just yet. I’d like to hear Jo fully explain his reasoning

I’ve never gotten that sense from him. And it is interesting that Kelvin always seeks him out after we play Tulane. To just give him some points on what he is seeing.
I’ve always felt Kevin is a team first guy. I didn’t get that vibe from Jalen or Jaylen.
I think he would really fit into the culture here. If he chose to pursue a transfer. His name is not in, as of today. So, just useless speculation. But I would love him in a Cougar uniform next season.
He does a lot of really, really good things on the basketball court.

I don’t know, Jo! I think u should just stop with predictions of players, especially ones not even in the TP. We all saw what happened last time u did such prediction. It blew up in your face w/Kenneth Lofton Jr. 
You’ll just open yourself up to more ridiculed if things don’t come to fruition. Just trying to look out 4 u brother!
You can play the insider or recruiting guru all u want, it’s when you make these strange & random predictions that get u in trouble (only mentioning names like it’s a done deal).
