I trust Sampson but after shooting did us in 2 tournaments in a row, going into next year with 0 knockdown shooters (other than maybe Sharp) bums me out a bit

Did you not watch the 2nd half of the Miami game where we were 2-14 from three and lost by four three-pointers? And 29% for the game, most of which were wide open?

Got 13 and 16 mpg….for that highly ranked of a kid something didn’t go right.

I was at the game, I just think the 85 points we gave up as a team that is so reliant on defense to compete is what hurt us.

I have a theory that recruiting rankings for the class of 2021 are more inaccurate because of Covid. Schools and ranking services weren’t able to see kids play live and in some states the entire HS basketball season was canceled. He isn’t the only highly ranked kid from that class that is underperforming.

I’ve learned that if you have a bad second half against Miami you blame the refs, esp if you blow a 13pt lead.
