I was really nervous he was going to have a “Powell like” body type where he struggled a lot to gain weight. Looks like that’s not to case. Probably just didn’t eat or lift as much. Bishop + soul food is an undefeated combo

This may be our way of finally getting a 6th guard in the rotation.
As long as we have our two power guys in Roberts/Francis and at least one in reserve (probably Tugler) I like where our rotation is.

obviously a ton of question…
i think id call another aac title if we we still in that league… without sounding to pessimistic im not sure how to feel about the big 12, were everyone but ucf will probably atleast as good as memphis …and 2 or 3 being title contenders
obvious doubts about rebounding (guards and bigs), there are no bigs you can probably feel comfortably 1 on 1 versus a top big,
also if i was an opposing team i dont see why you just dont crowd the post (like kent stats did last year). we seem really easy to scheme against defensively.
but i love the potential of out guards… assuming there are freshmen to sophomore jumps… our guard core should really be special.

Better than shirts vs skins? 
Cincy and BYU will have to prove to be as good as Memphis has been against us. There are few other teams like Ok State is questionable but your larger point is true, there will be at least 5 teams better than Memphis in b12. I think there needs to be a thread on expected number of wins next season.

I also feel like Memphis had their ratings increase when they played us or when they wanted to play us and smoked Tulane in the conference tourney. They got up for us
