I actually think reading the Chronicle killed more brain cells. But you could be right. I can tell you I’m looking forward to reading the coverage from the teams we play in their markets. I always find the guys in Utah interesting. Can’t stand Tech’s outfit. Seems the folks in Kansas would be solid. OSU gives you the straight stuff. I’ve been reading them for years. But I’ll read my Coog articles from other online sources.

Haha. Do like me, I took the Chronicle for 35+ yrs. Now I just get the Digital version n even ftom there it’s pretty much Jonathan Feigan-- for Rockets info & JD-- for all my Coogs info. They both do a great job covering both teams. Thats why I’m able to seperate the situation n all the crap that goes within a Newspaper. I guess I’m lucky in that regard. The stuff that JD has been putting in last week + in his Series of stories has been very good n takes a lot of work to do. So not that i need to explain but I’m Pro JF & JD n let the rest sit idle. #GoCoogs

I don’t know why but I’ve lost interest in Houston pro ball and the Rockets. I only have my beloved Astros. And if they want that they’ll have to pry the remote outa my cold, dead hands.

I had a question. I uploaded to the Yeoman orange seats on the visitor 50. They said that allows me access to Yeoman Club. True?
I bought my away game tickets for SMU and UTSA today. The guy said it counts for my cougar pride. I am pretty sure it doesn’t. My tickets are just allotted based on my cougar pride points.
I agree, although, I lost all interest in the Astros as well.

That’s how it was at Robertson… I knew students that had graduated 5 years prior to the game and were still using their student IDs to get in Robertson…

That worked for me for a while till I showed my old laminated student ID with all the stickers on the back, and the ticket taker looked at me like I was crazy.
She asked for my Cougar One card, and I looked at her like she was crazy.
“What the hell is a Cougar One card? This is my student ID!”
So I lost the argument about the ID but I won the war. I remember taking backpacks full of ice and a 12 pack of beer through the gates on a number of occasions.
Obviously all pre-9/11…

I like that approach. I’ve noticed there are more hardcore (and bandwagon) fans for P5 schools than the G5, especially here in TX.
I’m going to have to start following some of our future opponents to see what they have to say about us. But yeah, I feel like the more interesting (and perhaps objective) perspectives will likely come from schools like Iowa, BYU, Kansas & Kansas State, whom we don’t have much history or recent history with, if at all.
I once snuck an entire 12 pack into the Dome, while wearing a suit. Had a couple of beers stashed in my socks!

I’m in Galveston and saw a family of 4 wearing UH gear. For what it’s worth they appeared fairly affluent.

I just met another family at Moody Mansion. They said they haven’t gone in the last few years as it has priced them out.
They were down at the bottom. I told them to grab a family pack but not sure how interested they were.
