Week 4 - non UH games thread

Switching over to Bama v. Due for the 2nd half. Looks like its a good one.

Was about to say I really like #11 on Bama and then he whiffs on an open dunk attempt lol

Derik Queen looks skilled on offense and rebounding but lost on defense. He really would have benefited from the Sampsons and Bishop. I get why he would want to stay home but too bad

As good as Edey was for Purdue the last few years, I think he limited a lot of what they could do. They look like they’re going to be fine without him this year.

Also Alabama looking like a mid 10s or 20s team this year

Their ball screen defense was terrible

Bama took a lot of losses during last season and turned it on tourney time to get to the F4

Their defense is definitely suspect but they’re also young. It’ll be interesting to see how they develop throughout the year.

Down goes Bama, down she goes. 87-78 to the Boilermakers.

Butler beat SMOO by 11. Good result for us.

Just now watched Maryland loose, in a contest where missed free throws at the end sealed their coffin . . . . .

some decent day games for those “working from home” today or are just off.

St Johns looks REALLY good.

Baylor doesn’t seem to like to play defense,

Okay, I guess Baylor is just not going to be good this year in basketball.

Edit: Baylor won!
