A friend of mine is scrambling to get fire insurance for his place in Ruidoso. When we think of spreading the risk, we have to spread it wide for fires, storms, earthquakes. This is going to be a thing going forward, to include commercial structures. when risk can’t be mitigated, people/companies choose other things to do with their money.
Looks like the seeding didn’t work. On every news report so far, they are all shoeing just one thing, a toppled over construction crane. Looks like the total destruction never happened.
I seem to see the right side conspiracies focusing on the government, and the left more conspiratorial about big corporations (Monsanto…
)

You know, I’ve been thinking, the reason fake news is believed is probably because of technology. Like with my mom, she’s convinced that computers can do anything. Which is pretty much true. They can change your face and voice. It can write novels. To that generation, technology is like magic. So it’s not that far fetched to think that we have technology that can control weather.

I can understand to a degree how some of the elderly could adopt that view.
But for others outside of that group, this is really crazy stuff.
