Agreed… $uper$harp$hooter!
It isn’t ridiculous if you take the scarlet red colored glasses off for a second and compare the struggles of last year and see they’re still present this year.
Offensive rebounds is not a sustainable offense. Switching the ball 100 times a possesion at the top of the key until there’s 10 seconds left, is not a sustainable offense.
You can get mad all you want but the reality is other programs are learning to play our brand, that is how they beat us. We need a legitimate offensive mind.
We can agree to disagree, I’m fine with that. Until i see less of the two-man hero ball then that’s probably what’s best.
I am not mad you are just clueless. Let me know how your defeatist belief works and how we cannot beat any Big 12 team by 20 points.
See you over stated your opinion trying to make a point. If you are unwilling to back track that statement nothing else really matters.
How is it defeatist?
-
Offense as it currently is, appears problematic.
-
I never said it couldn’t be improved
You simply don’t want to hear it. Which again, is fine. Just remember you responded to my comment; I’m allowed to respond to yours in disagreement.
It’s also not my responsibility to be burdened by your assumptions that every objective piece of criticism a poster makes should be attributed to a personal attack on the coach.
If you want to get foolishly defensive based on presuppositions that aren’t necessarily true go right ahead argue with an idea you created in your own head.
This thread needs to be closed. The refs topic from the Alabama game is old news.
Roberts is the leader on the team. He’s not the alpha that Shead is, but he’s this year’s team lead.
The Michigan game in the tourney we lost pissed me off because we were running them out of the building, then the refs took over the 2nd half allowing that freshman to hit a buzzer beater from way deep.
Then Herro from UK hit a 40 foot buzzer beater when we’re wer up 2.
I think both these teams went to the final four.
Baylor just starting hitting everything a game before Au’s. They just got super hot.
Then Shead went down last year.
We have been VERY close.
Make two free throws and Michigans miracle doesn’t happen
And a 4 point play…
I did love watching Devin Davis play here, though… dude was a baller.
Yes he was. I thought Dunn would be like him here but it just didn’t workout
Thing about Michigan is we did everything right down the stretch of that game outside of missing the clinching FTs, but the refs did a 180 in how they called the game the last 10 min to keep Michigan in it. I think they even had a 6 point possession at once to take away a 10 point lead cutting in to 4.
Then the last shot was just such BS it was hard to get past.
Against Kentucky we overcame a size deficit and talent difference to get back in the game and had control the last two min. Kentucky just made two great shots down the stretch to steal it.
Hero’s shot was more like 25 ft and then Washington hit a 10 ft jump hook in the middle of the paint over Fabian.
When we lost to Miami they were just really good. We were beat up making it tougher but they might have won either way.
In our Final Four game, Baylor was just better. Great season and overmatched at the end.
The Duke loss was about injuries. Give us Shead and we win. Give us a healthy squad and it is a clear top 2 matching up in the championship game.
I’m remembering that as a 5 point play but could be wrong
I seem to remember 4 point play… missed FTs… half court 3…
Depression.
That is fair.
