if you look at a historical weather site like weatherspark, Houston has been about average this year; the humidity is the killer; weatherspark uses the terms miserable and oppressive and that doesn’t start dropping until September. I have only seen New Orleans and places in Florida with that kind of humidity rating.
People can turn up the AC. Everything in the Gulf that lives in the different temp ranges of water is having to hustle harder to make a living (feeding). Shellfish are taking a beating.
