I gotta get up to this level of Coog Fandom… Respect!
I’m throwing in pro memorabilia from Coogs too, though…

Mmmm I dunno… the walls are blue, so
I have a couple ideas for some cool walls in my studio/office/man cave…
Execution has been an issue so far…
Note to self: post less, paint more.
that old school pennant is pretty awesome. what is year on that?
I just scored this sweet Andre Ware and Jugular John autographed copy of the Chronicle!
Its actually a reprint, so it’s closer to a poster in print quality. Great piece. There were actually 3 bidders, me and Jason March were the other two, we were wonder who you were… LOL
I’ve got an original copy of the paper, a bit yellowed, but an original. I put it in a file cabinet years ago.
Me also I have the original in a drawer mine has aged also like me lol
They did a reprint, back then, where they reformatted the page to get all the Heisman related stuff on to 2 sides of one 14-1/4" x 20-3/8" sheet, that is both sides. I did not even know that was a thing until I saw that item. If you look at the actual newspaper, the pictures suck and the whole page is not about Andre. I already had this one from when I acquired the Jim Perdue collection and I am saving up for next week, so I did not got at it that hard. I am not super excited that yall are finding my honey hole.
Ha! I figured anyone that was bidding on it had to be on here too Can’t wait to hang it in my office, although I must admit, I’m somewhat sad to be standing in the way of it hanging in Coog-Valhalla (your epic Coog room)!
Ohhh, is there more merch on offer next week or something Well, thank you for graciously bowing out when you did. I was gonna go a bit higher, but not much!
Out in left field, but I picked up some vintage 1950s-1960s Blazer buttons from Ben Silver (they’re still around!). It has the original, art deco crest (est 1934).
My only problem is now finding an appropriate blazer with two sleeve buttons. That will probably need to be made bespoke, but worth it/first world problems.
I actually gave that guy a lesson in the internet a couple weeks back, I had to explain that U of H is not an easily searchable term that he should put University of Houston instead.
We have started rebuilding and wanted to share an update on the Cougartorium 2.0. We reconfigured the structure below because we had an undersized beam that was causing some problems… This is from the outside of the room looking in, the new wall will be on top of that new floor beam and the door will become a single door down on the right end. The roof slope is going to be lessened so that the outside wall will be 16" taller. If it ever stops raining we will rebuild the roof.
We are also cougar-fying the garage
I am looking specifically for the following items if anybody has a lead:
Also I am interested in team signed balls and other memorabilia if anybody is looking to downsize.
Not looking for a handout will pay good money for the right items.
I grew-up with the Shooting Stars poster in my room as a kid. My parents made a bad decision and had it lacqured on particle board just after they got it. Unfortunately, it eventually fell apart.
One thing I have are some autographs I got as a kid.
This is AWESOME. You are the man. What a collection. Congrats
Robertsoooooooonnnnn!!!
Very nice collection. Its not a Man Cave, its a Cougar Cave.
Unfortunately the artist that you’re referencing, Robert Hurst died in 2021. He did the artwork for the Texas Sports Hall of Fame and the inductees. He was a great one! Glad that they still have some of his pieces available. He made an Andre Ware painting as well as a Shasta Cougar painting.
