I normally think that too.
But - to play devil’s advocate - the players also don’t play barefoot. So if they can play in a shoe that adds 1.23 inches to their height, that means they would effectively have the added height on the floor.
I jest though as players would start wearing shoes they can’t actually play in (ie high heel stripper shoes) to the measurement session ha ha.

What I’ve learned from this entire thread (and the 2 shuttered ones before it) is placing hope in very vague and ambiguous posts about potential gets is incredibly frustrating for literally everyone involved. Guess I’ll just wait on an announcement, but even without another add, I’m very excited about the team we have and entering the Big 12. Basketball season can’t get here soon enough!

This is just my assumption but after the Villanova loss in the Elite 8 2022, it seems like the motive has been to play small ball. Villanova had a much quicker front court that blew by our defenders which were Carlton and Fabian at the time…Now with the Miami loss it’s getting more players that have more offensive skills with Cryer shooting 42% from the 3 and Dunn drawing a bunch of fouls which is key down the strech. Now to compliment JWan would be to bring a strech 4 type that makes the bigger front court players tough to guard….could be a 2022 Villanova type of team in the making…

The Jefferson kid is raw but very talent and 6-4. Do not count him out in the future. That said I could see us going portal for experience

sampson just noted we lost a few players becuase we just dont have the NIL to bid…
says we’ll play the NIL game a little but cant match any big program … says there was a big player we could have landed but the NIL number he wanted we couldnt match
