Transfer Portal - December 9 - 28, 2024

Strange deal with him.

He better get paid first

Idk what the fascination about Scott as a returner is about on this board. Some of yall act like Mews is garbage and needs to be replaced & I dont get it. Last year we were young and didn’t have much depth. Mews was asked to do more than what he should have been doing bc we simply didnt have the talent we have now. But to act like Scott should replace him as the return man is lunacy.

The fascination exists because Scott was at one point an almost 15 ypr punt returner in the SEC.

WE would like to have that type of production.

Not sure what happened to his game last season.

Maybe he wants to better prepare himself for the portal next season.

Wilson is a shrewd businessman….take the money and head to A&M……then get beat out in the spring and “re-portal”….then head to Nebraska for another bag of money.:moneybag:

It’s the new “double portal” money play.

Maybe because the “return” position is not a one man operation. There are 10 other dudes involved. I’m hoping our return “team” can hold up in all 11 positions . . . . .

Well, fair enough.

I wonder what happened to their special teams as a whole to make his return yardage decline to such a degree.

Oh Dat Portal.

This on here ?

This will achieve next to nothing. Kids can still say they intend to enter and teams will still be able to talk to the kids agents. Nothing changes.

A more important change would be to regulate NIL agents.

Ewers will take a pay cut going to the NFL, even in a weak QB draft.

How much is he currently making?

Again, we already have a dynamic punt returner in Mews so there’s no need to automatically lean on Scott. I’m sure they’ll both field punts throughout the season, but as it stands currently, it’s Mews’ spot to lose.

First player from the CF Championship Game has hit the portal. Ohio St.'s RB Sam Williams-Dixon. 3 :star: from North Carolina. No UH ties.

I’m sure UH is monitoring the players from the CFP who hit the portal,

Micah Hudson supposedly going back to Texas Tech after spending a month at A&M.

Apparently he has been on campus discussing a return with the staff but since the portal is closed, he can’t officially return to April.

According to the aggy board, apparently the team didn’t take too well to Hudson’s superstar package but the last straw was that he ALLEGEDLY got into a fight with Marcel Reed, the starting QB at A&M.
