I know the entire board disagrees with me and Coach would ānever let a freshman PG run the showāā¦ā¦Iāve already heard/read it from several guysā¦ā¦but I disagree.
Kingston is the best freshman PG coach has ever hadā¦.if Milos leaves he could very well tell his staff their #1 job is to get Kingston ready to start.
And yes, there will be some growing pains but again, Iāve watched him play for the last two seasons several timesā¦.I coach basketball, I know what my eyes are telling me.
I have a smidge more experience than some of the people on the board that watched or read about ONE game and decided he was this or that.
I wonāt say another word on thisā¦.ill just sit back and watch the experts tell us exactly what is going to happen.

a ton of people like dent. he is better than dedanā¦ but he could go pro, and if he touches the portal, every major team will offer him an unheard off bag (in a weaker potal)ā¦ the kind of bag i dont think weād be desperate enough to payā¦
dedan, jizzle and jalend lowe are my top 3, based on how we normally recruit transfers (played or recruited them in high schoolā¦ we didnt recruit lowe, but his dad has huge ties to UH)

MANY didnāt say it, but you sure dismissed him from being anything and continually tried to validate your stance by saying he wasnāt our top option.

Kingston looks like he has the court smarts of Shead and the leaping ability of Mylik. That kid is on another planet. Really something special. Not sure Iāve seen a more talented and athletic UH recruit in my lifetime.
Maybe Winslow. But Winslowās jumper wasnāt great when he got to campus.

i have heavily defended and hyped uzan all offseasonā¦i got in plenty of debates that we are fine at pgā¦ one of them you were involved in becuase you didnt like that i said weād be fine without sheadā¦ all offseason i said uzan can defend, he can pass, and can driveā¦i questioned the shooting (29% from 3), but flat said every pg before uzan wasnt a great shooter and weve been eliteā¦ and i even said he could be a shooter in the offseason after he did 17pt per at the pro-am in the summer, doing it mostly from 3 at like 43%ā¦ and lj described him in the offseason as a shooter

again this isnt about us, but what coach likes ā¦ there is a post game from a year ago, where sampson just gushes over jizzleā¦ and talks about absolutely loving his toughness and potential, stating they dont make freshmen like that anymoreā¦ plus he regualrly uses our practice facilityā¦ there is enough context clues here, that if he went portaling, heād def be an option
